Tres-Or Resources (TRS-V) and joint-venture partner Adroit Resources (ADT-V) have received encouraging results from airborne surveys completed over their diamond properties in the Temagami region, west of Lake Timiskaming, Ontario.
In total 2,583 line-km of helicopter-borne high resolution magnetic and electromagnetic surveys were flown at a 50-metre line spacing.
The two companies have joint venture agreements covering the Temagami North, Cobalt South and Temagami East projects.
Two high-priority ranked anomalies have been identified on the Temagami North project, where 300 line-km were flown. Three high-priority targets have been identified on the Temagami East option, which was covered by 1,450 line-km of airborne, and ground follow up is in progress. Interpretation is on-going over the Cobalt South property where 873 line-km were flown.
Earlier this year Tres-Or intersected two kimberlites on its 100%-owned Quebec claims northeast of Lake Timiskaming, near the town of Notre Dame du Nord, Quebec. One angled hole intersected 62.5 metres of kimberlite, while another hole, drilled 7.5 km to the southwest, intersected a series of thin kimberlite dykes. A detailed 1,475 line-km magnetic and electromagnetic survey was flown over this property in December 2003.
