Majestic confirms Sawayaerdun grades and continuity

Vancouver – Drill results from Majestic Gold’s (MJS-V) Sawayaerdun gold project in western China have confirmed the continuity and gold grade that had been found in this year’s surface trenches.

The Sawayaerdun project covers 123 square km. in the southern Tian Shan gold belt which stretches from Inner Mongolia west to Uzbekistan hosting multi-million oz. deposits like Muruntau and Kumtor.

All five holes intersected gold mineralization in the central portion of Zone IV. The 1,600-metre drill program focused on 350 metres of the Zone IV strike length to depths of 50 to 340 metres within the recently trenched area that covers 850 metres within this zone. Highlights from the program include 54 metres grading 1.54 grams gold; 50 metres grading 1.43 grams gold; 29 metres grading 2.17 grams gold; and 60 metres grading 1.19 grams gold.

At least two of the new holes were drilled within 50 metres of old holes which had been drilled by the XBGMR and had also returned high grades over significant widths.

Zone IV is the main structural trend or shear zone that has been traced over 4 km on surface on the Sawayaerdun property. Zone IV trends across the China-Kyrgyzstan border to Lalo Ventures’ (LAL-V) Savoyardy project. Historical resources have been outlined on both projects by the Chinese.

Majestic can earn a 90% interest in the property through its business JV between the Xinjiang Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources (XBGMR ) by funding exploration and development of at least US$2 million over four years.

Three bulk samples are enroute to Canada for metallurgical testing.
