Drilling on the Red Chris property in northwestern British Columbia is firming up a new zone of mineralization for American Bullion Minerals (VSE).
The company has drilled eight widely spaced holes on the Yellow Chris zone, which was previously identified by historic shallow drilling over an area of anomalous copper-gold soil values and an induced-polarization anomaly.
The drilling confirms the presence of copper mineralization to a depth of 350 metres.
Drilling on the Red Chris is continuing in an effort to upgrade and expand the current minable resource of 157 million tonnes grading 0.48% copper and 0.37 grams gold per tonne.
Teck (TSE) holds a 20% interest in the Red Chris project, which it can increase to 55%.
Results from the first three holes on the Yellow Chris zone are as follows: HoleIntervalWidthCopperGold
