Labrador News Roundup — Pacific Golden locates gossan

Preliminary field work on ground held by Pacific Golden Spike Resources (VSE) in the Voisey Bay area of Labrador is turning up sulphide mineralization.

The identified gossan measures more than 2 km in length by 400 metres in width.

Pacific Golden Spike reports that semi-massive pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite have been traced over 600 metres of the gossan’s strike length within a minimum thickness of 5 metres. A second parallel zone of similar mineralization has been located 300 metres to the south. Assays from blasted samples should be available before September.
