Armistice hopeful in Virginatown

Lower-than-anticipated head grades at its property in Virgiantown, Ont., have not deterred Armistice Resources (ME).

Bulk sampling of 2,903 tons of material yielded 580.4 oz. gold, for a recovered grade of 0.2 oz. per ton.

Armistice believes the 0.21-oz. head grade reflects the inclusion in the bulk sample of low-grade development rock from the access raise and peripheral openings, and that most of the dilution would be eliminated in actual mining operations.
