Ground crews have identified a large area of disseminated and massive sulphide occurrences on their 352-claim property 15 km south of Okak Bay, Labrador.
Partners Castle Rock Exploration (VSE) and United Compass Resources (VSE) report that the sulphide occurrences trend northwesterly and exist within a complex sequence of norites, olivine-bearing gabbro and coarse crumbly anorthosite within the Nain Plutonic Suite.
Massive sulphides include coarse-grained pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and pentlandite.
The joint venture is applying for permits to drill-test the mineralized zone.
