NEWS ROUNDUP — Murgor drills for gold at Barry Twp.

Montreal-listed Murgor Resources has completed the first phase of its winter program at the Barry Twp. gold property in northwestern Quebec. The program consisted of 22 near-vertical, shallow holes drilled on a grid at 20-by-20-metre centres. Drill core samples have been sent out for assay.

A second phase of work has started to test for a possible extension of the known mineralization across a fault inferred from earlier drill results. An induced-polarization anomaly has been drilled, and the 448-metre hole encountered favorable geology and alteration, as well as sulphide mineralization, in the final 98 metres. Results of assays have not yet been received.
