NASDAQ-listed U.S. Energy has sold its ownership of the manufacturer of Brunton compasses.
Produced in Riverton, Wyo., the compasses are commonly used by geologists in the field.
U.S. Energy, which has produced the compass through a subisidary since 1973, will now focus on exploring for uranium ores in Wyoming.
The buyer is Silva Production of Sweden, a leading manufacturer of magnetic compasses.
