DIAMOND PAGE — Diadem Res. finds diamond fragments in California

A drill hole at Diadem Resources’ (ME) property near Leek Springs, Calif., has returned 235 diamond fragments.

The fragments were recovered from samples representing 120 ft. of lamproite between 36 and 156 ft in hole 1.

One fragment was also recovered from hole 3 before winter weather forced Diadem to discontinue holes 2 and 3.

The drill samples also contain visible gold and moissanite, a rare mineral known to occur in the Mir diamond pipe in Eastern Siberia.

Drilling will resume as soon as weather conditions improve.
