Brazil to host world gold symposium

The ninth Internatonal Gold Symposium will be held Aug. 12-13 at the Hotel Gloria in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Sponsored by CVRD, Barrick Gold, the World Gold Council, and two of Brazil’s major mining agencies, the conference will focus on various aspects of gold mining in Brazil. These include: investment opportunities; risk analysis; and negotiations with property owners; management of exploration; and funding.
