Pursuit expands in Indonesia

A recent land acquisition program has made International Pursuit (IPJ-T) one of the largest landholders in Indonesia.

Pursuit has acquired 3.2 million hectares of exploration land in 14 separate contract-of-work applications in Kalimantan, Indonesia. This brings its total land holdings to 4.6 million hectares, including 1.44 million hectares held by Dayak Goldfields (DAYK-C), in which the company holds a 16% interest.

The company has completed a low-level airborne reconnaissance survey over its holdings and identified 60 high-priority targets, which it believes to be silica ridges and altered intrusives. A sampling program has begun on these areas, with a diamond drilling program scheduled to start in July.

In a related announcement, Java Gold (JVAG-C) and Dayak, both 18%-owned by Pursuit, are listed on the Canadian Dealers Network.
