NEWS ROUNDUP — Highwood merges with Mountain

Juniors Highwood Resources (HWD-T) and Mountain Minerals (MIM-T) are merging to create a company specializing in industrial minerals and specialty metals.

As a result of the merger, shareholders of Mountain Minerals will receive, for each share of that company, 0.284 of a share of Highwood.

Once the merger is final, the company, which will retain the name Mountain Minerals, will begin work on the Thor Lake beryllium project in the Northwest Territories. As part of the work plan, a bulk sample stored on the property will be metallurgically tested.
