Vancouver-based Orvana Minerals (ORV-T) has pulled two more rich intersections from the high-grade zone of its wholly owned Dom Mario deposit in Bolivia.
Holes DM-90 and DM-92, collared to intersect the central core of the zone, hit 10 metres grading 32.2 grams (0.94 oz.) per tonne and 8 metres grading 55.9 (1.63 oz.), respectively. Both results are reported as true thicknesses.
Previous drill results suggested an average grade of 13 grams for the gold zone.
Orvana is trying to confirm the grade and continuity of the central core of the steeply dipping zone. Resources on the property are estimated to be more than 1 million oz. gold and 220 million lb. copper.
The latest holes are the fourth and fifth holes to be drilled into the core this year.
