A recent report in your newspaper has stated that Eldorado is joining Gencor to pursue an interest in our gold mine at Pueblo Viejo, in the Dominican Republic.
In order to avoid any misunderstanding, we wish to state that Rosario Dominicana SA (RDSA) does not have, at the present time, any obligation whatsoever with any company aiming to establish a joint venture, or any other kind of agreement, pursuant to the exploration of our gold and silver deposits.
Several companies, including Eldorado, have showed interest in reaching some sort of agreement with RDSA. Consequently, we have given Eldorado, as well as other companies, and without any obligation for us, co-operation, including the opportunity to conduct on-site studies and tests, in order for them to present proposals to RDSA.
