With mapping and geophysical surveying under way at its Laguna del Alto gold-copper property in Chile, Normabec Mining Resources (NMB-M) is beginning to prepare for drilling.
To fund the work, Normabec has completed a private placement at $1.10 per share, for proceeds of $1 million. A portion of this will be used to evaluate several Argentine properties.
More than 3.5 million tonnes grading 1.93 grams gold per tonne have been defined at Laguna del Alto. Copper grades in surface samples vary from 0.57% to 1.38%.
