Results add lustre to Butte Highlands

Toronto-listed Orvana Minerals (ORV-T) is heartened by results from the first five holes testing high-grade continuity and other portions of the Butte Highlands gold property in Montana.

Holes 96-1 and 96-8 indicate continuity of the Upper and Middle zones in the Wolsey shale within the Nevin Hill deposit. Hole 96-1 returned 0.1 gram gold per tonne over 82.5 ft., including a 25.3-ft. intersection grading 0.16 gram.

Drilling at 96-8 also encountered a wide zone of intrusive-hosted gold mineralization that is believed to be potentially amenable to bulk-minable underground methods. That hole returned 91 ft. grading 0.1 gram gold, including 11 ft. of 0.24 gram.

Three other holes encountered similar, intrusive-hosted zones with widespread, but sub-economic, grades. The program continues.
