The Geological Survey of Canada (GSC) will host a forum from Jan. 20 to 22, 1997, at the Ottawa Congress Centre.
Entitled “1997 Current Activities Forum,” the conference will offer research findings related to all of its geological programs. Emphasis will be placed on work conducted in northern Canada.
On Jan. 20, GSC scientist Harvey Thorleifson will deliver a lecture entitled “Diamonds in Canada.”
