THE DIAMOND PAGE — Drilling cuts dykes at Snap

A 4,500-metre drill program is under way at the Camsell Lake project, 225 km northeast of Yellowknife, N.W.T.

Situated near Snap Lake, the project is a joint venture between operator Winspear Resources (WSP-V), with a 57.3% interest, and Aber Resources (ABZ-T) with the remainder. Five holes have been drilled and a sixth is in progress.

The holes have all intersected kimberlite dykes, with intervals ranging from several centimetres to 2.2 metres true thickness.

The partners have defined 30 high-priority targets. Drilling is focusing on an area where 143 diamonds, including 33 macros, were recovered from 34.1 kg of boulder material sampled from two separate locations on the northwestern side of Snap Lake.
