LATIN AMERICA — Junior eyes Mexican project

Toronto-based Breckenridge Minerals (BREK-C) has signed a joint-Venture agreement allowing an Ontario numbered company to earn a 25% interest in the Palmarejo silver project in Chihuahua state, Mexico.

To earn the interest, the private company must invest US$300,000 in the project. Palmarejo is a former producer with a 100-Ton-per-day plant, tailings dam, dumps and othe equipment.

Existing resources at the Palmarejo property are reported to be 124,000 tonnes averaging 2.37 grams gold and more than 300 grams silver per tonne.
