Pelangio to explore in Temagami

Pelangio Larder Mines (PLLM-C) can earn a 40% interest in two properties staked by Battle Mountain Canada (BMC-T) last September in Temagami, Ont.

One property is in Tyrrell Twp. and the other in adjacent Knight Twp., about 90 km southeast of Timmins. Both properties are in the southern reaches of the Abitibi greenstone belt.

The 672-ha Tyrrell property adjoins the Minto gold mine (a past producer of 14,000 oz. gold) and hosts several surface gold showings.

Battle Mountain sampled a surface showing on the 400-ha Knight property at the time the claims were staked, with grab samples returning 9.7 and 5.3 grams gold per tonne. Drilling in the 1950s intersected gold mineralization grading 5.8 grams over 3.7 metres, 16.4 grams over 1.1 metres, and 6.2 grams over 2.5 metres.

Pelangio has started line-Cutting work and intends to carry out geophysical and geochemical surveys.
