Newhawk cancels sale

The $4-million sale of the Sulphurets-Bruceside gold-silver project in northwestern British Columbia has been terminated by Newhawk Gold Mines (nhg-t) because Treminco Resources (tmo-t) failed to complete its due diligence by the required deadline.

Newhawk says it will entertain other offers, while it considers its future course of action regarding the project.

In the meantime, Treminco is continuing with its due diligence review.
