DIAMOND PAGE — Golden Phoenix expands in central Alaska

Newly listed Golden Phoenix Minerals (GPXM-O) has acquired eight massive sulphide targets in the Bonnifield district, south of Fairbanks, Alaska.

The company is exploring for volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits in the district, which is situated on the northern slope of the Alaska range.

The properties, which comprise 16 sq. miles of mining claims, include Glacier Creek, Slide Creek, West Dry Creek, Grizzly Peak, Kansas Gold, Glory Creek, Mystic Mountain and Forgotten Gold.

The company intends to carry out mapping and sampling prior to a drill program, scheduled for 1998.

The company now owns 21 properties in six mining districts of central Alaska.

It also owns properties in Nevada.
