Gold Canyon drills Springpole

Junior Gold Canyon Resources (GCU-V) has begun a 2,400-metre program of diamond drilling at its Springpole gold project, 113 km northeast of Red Lake, Ont.

The program will focus on the East Extension and Contact zones, as well as follow up three holes that were drilled elsewhere on property. One of these holes, BL-228, intersected 24.54 metres (from 43.28 to 67.82 metres) of breccia grading 18.62 grams gold per tonne.
