EXPLORATION 1998 — Greenland target for Softrock

Softrock Minerals (SFT-A) has identified areas of anomalous gold mineralization at its Lindenow property in southeastern Greenland.

In the portion of the property known as Kutseq, preliminary exploration identified a main zone of mineralization that yielded 7 grams per tonne over 1 metre. The mineralized sequence has limited exposure over 425 metres, and could extend to another 275 metres. The gold is associated with arsenopyrite.

Ground geophysics will be carried out in an attempt to define drill targets.

Gold values were also exhibited by rock samples collected at another portion, Sorte Nunatak, during reconnaissance work. More than 20% of those samples showed anomalous values; one returned 16.7 grams per tonne.
