Recent issues of the Ontario Securities Commission’s OSC Bulletin show insiders of Asia Pacific Resources (APQ-T) were actively buying and selling its shares in March and April.

Crew Holdings, holder of more than 10%, bought 131,000 shares at $2.83-4.25 and sold 377,000 shares directly at $2.90-4.15 and 200,000 privately at $4 to hold 4,642,945 shares; John Darch, director, bought 141,000 shares indirectly at $3.51-4.26 and 5,000 directly at $4.06, sold 100,000 shares directly at $3.75 and 557,000 indirectly at $3.70-4.15, and sold another 365,000 shares indirectly and privately at $2.60-4 to hold 5,653,891 shares indirectly and 94,000 directly; and Gerald Wright, director, bought 131,000 shares indirectly at $2.83-4.25, acquired 200,000 indirectly and privately at $4, sold 200,000 indirectly and privately at $4 and sold 632,500 shares indirectly at $2.90-4.15 to hold 5,275,893 indirectly and 409,260 directly.

Other transactions reported in recent weeks include:

* American Bullion Minerals (ABP-T) — Darin Barry, senior officer, was granted 525,000 options at 70 cents to hold 525,000; Scott Broughton, senior officer, was granted 80,000 options at 75-87 cents to hold 80,000; John Gingell, senior officer, bought 19,500 shares at 70 cents and was granted 80,000 options at 75 cents to hold 19,500 shares and 80,000 options; Richard Whittall, director, was granted 90,000 shares at 70% to hold 240,000; and Charles Wills, director, was granted 525,000 options indirectly at 70 cents to hold 525,000 indirectly.

* BMR Gold (BGL-T) — Frank Varseveld, director, sold 671,500 shares directly at 9 cents-11 cents, sold 50,000 shares privately at 10 cents and bought 200,000 shares indirectly to hold 382,304 directly and 276,000 indirectly.

* Sahelian Goldfields (SHGI-C) — Bay Merchant Group, owner of more than 10%, bought 1 million shares privately at 20 cents, bought 1 million shares at 20 cents in a private placement, acquired 500,000 shares at 20 cents as compensation for services, was granted 500,000 options at 20 cents, and bought 500,000 options at 35 cents in a private placement to hold 1.77 million shares and 1.5 million options.
