CORRECTION (July 20, 1998)

In our July 13 issue, we erred in reporting that Tokyo-based Jipangu had agreed to purchase a private placement of 1 million units of Claimstaker Resources (CLN-V) at 2 cents per unit. The correct value is 25 cents per unit, for total proceeds of $250,000.
