Work at a kimberlite pipe on the Tswapong property in Botswana has been halted after sampling indicated uneconomic diamond content.

Owner Botswana Diamondfields (BWD-V) has since closed its field office in the country.

In South Africa, where the company operated the Rovic diamond mine, an inquiry is preparing to release a statement regarding an accident there in 1996 which killed 20 miners.
