EXPLORATION 1999 – Stroud explores Santo Domingo

Stroud Resources (SDR-T) is targeting epithermal gold-silver mineralization at the Santo Domingo II property, 32 km north of Guadalajara, Mexico.

Epithermal veins found at Santo Domingo were developed by Spanish colonials for their silver. Six grab samples from two of those veins returned between 0.34 and 31 grams gold and 57.6-1,029.6 grams silver. The veins are sub-parallel, range between 5 and 20 metres in width, and appear to have a strike length of 750 metres.

Geological mapping and diamond drilling will begin once the property’s access road has been repaired.

Stroud is funding the program with proceeds from a private placement with TNK Resources (TNKR-C). The deal saw 4 million units sold at 10 cents each. A unit consists of one share and one-tenth of a share purchase warrant. A whole warrant entitles TNK to buy an additional share till mid-May 2000 at 10 cents per share.
