Results from 15 holes in the East zone, combined with earlier results, outline three plunging shoots in a strike length of 1 km.
Gold values vary from anomalous to 42 grams per tonne over 1-15 metres. Results include:
- hole 336, which returned 1 metre (57-58 metres) grading 42.4 grams, 2 metres (89-91 metres) grading 4.65 grams, 5 metres (108-113 metres) grading 4.03 grams, and 3 metres (139-142 metres) grading 1.85 grams; and
- hole 325, which returned 4 metres (62-66 metres) grading 10.22 grams and 4 metres (94-98 metres) grading 12.88 grams.
Two holes failed to return any significant values, and results are pending for portions of another two. On section, holes were spaced 20-40 metres apart.
Mineralization remains open at depth, as well as to the south in two of the zones. Drilling continues.
Pangea operates and holds a 70% interest in Tulawaka; the remainder is held by Minires du Nord.
In related news, Pangea has completed preliminary rapid-air-blast drilling at its recently acquired Imwero project in the Geita camp. Results will be released shortly.
