In continuous production since 1991, the underground mine has produced an average of 54,000 oz. gold annually at a historic grade of 8.9 grams per tonne over average widths of about 2 metres.
Recent drilling has expanded the newly discovered 2d zone, which has returned grades and widths above the mine’s 9-year production average. The zone is defined by the occurrence of two shear veins hosting massive pyrite. The latest results from this target include: 7.3 metres grading 10.76 grams gold per tonne; 5.5 metres of 11.03 grams; 2.3 metres of 11.19 grams; and 1.1 metres of 8.58 grams.
At last report, Seabee hosted reserves 853,104 tonnes averaging 8.56 grams, plus additional resources of 1.4 million tonnes of 8 grams.
The mine is 125 km northeast of La Ronge.
