Surviving a tragedy

We at The Northern Miner join civilized people everywhere in extending our condolences and prayers to the families and loved ones of those who died in the recent terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.

We salute the ongoing heroic efforts of the firemen, police, medical personnel and volunteers involved in the massive recovery operations, and the bravery of those preparing to battle terrorism.
