A diamond drill program aimed at determining the cause of a 10,000-ft geophysical anomaly has been started on the 340-claim property of Lenora Explorations and Argentex Resources Exploration Corp., in the Casa Berardi area of Quebec.
The drilling is being done by Homestake Development Co., Vancouver, a wholly-owned subsidiary of California’s Homestake Development Co.
Donald Rankin, secretary-treasurer of Argentex, says reverse circulation drilling immediately down ice from the anomaly has returned encouraging values in gold and arsenic, from the bottom till horizon along a 3,000-ft strike length.
