Delaware reports gold intercepts

Drill results have been reported by Delaware Resources from its SNIP prospect in the Ikut River area of B.C.

Hole 12 drilled on the Cross zone returned a 55.7-ft intersection grading 0.586 oz gold per ton, including a 6.6 ft section of 4.535 oz. The company says this latter high-grade interval was checked with a fire assay on a 2-assay-ton split.

Hole 9A returned a 22.7 ft section from the South zone which graded 0.165 oz, including a 3.3 ft section of 0.757 oz.

From the Main zone, Hole 9A pulled a 3.3-ft section of 0.085 oz gold per ton. And from the North zone this hole returned a 7.2 ft intersection of 0.842 oz.

Holes 10 and 11 were not drilled to sufficient depth to intersect the North zone mineralization, the company says.

Hole 10 did return a 6.6 ft section from the South zone which graded 0.090 oz gold per ton and a 21.3 ft section from the Main zone of 0.114 oz.

Hole 11 returned a 17.4 ft section from the Main zone which graded 0.287 oz. This included a 10.2 ft section of 0.463 oz.

The company says sampling results from geological mapping and soil sampling programs were successful in outlining new mineralized areas in outcrop and in surficial material as well as indicating potential on-strike extensions of the known zones.
