Peralto to drill Casa Berardi bet

A diamond drill program is planned on Peralto Resources Corp.’s project located in Quebec’s Casa Berardi area as soon as possible after freeze-up, reports President Anthony L. Agostino.

The property, which consists of nine contiguous claims in Laberge Twp., is about 18 miles southwest of the Teck/Golden Hope discovery.

Mr Agostino says all 32 samples from a recently-completed overburden drill program testing the basal till returned highly anomalous gold values. The samples also revealed a carbonate alteration zone coincident with a linear EM anomaly and skarn zone. Reporting the results to date, consulting geologist J. Paul Sorbora noted that carbonate alteration is associated with precious metals deposits of the Casa Berardi area.

Mr Sorbora said the highest ranging assays were recovered from overburden drill holes in the basal till directly down slope from the best geophysical conductors located on the property.

Mr. Agostino says the company has terminated negotiations regarding a formal agreement regarding the purchase of a 100% interest in Southern Interior Flight Center. He adds the company intends to proceed with the acquisition of 40% of the shares of Bai-Dotta Inc, a California specialty ceramics manufacturer. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals.
