Marathon LeTourneau has also introduced a 200-ton rear dump truck. Equipped with a 2,000-hp engine, the Titan T-2000 reportedly delivers fast response and acceleration to speeds of more than 30 mph. An electrodynamic traction system changes from propel to retard in less than one second and provides up to 3,200 continuous retarding horsepower to the wheels. The truck’s cab has been ergonomically designed for visibility, low noise levels and comfort.
The Titan is 40 ft-9 in long and 22 ft wide and has a wheel base of 18 ft.
