Preliminary assay results have been reported by Mastt Resources from two drill holes on the company’s mineral claims in the Quesnel mining division of British Columbia.
Hole No. 9 returned intersections ranging from 20 ft, from 125 to 145 ft, at a grade of 0.656 oz gold per ton, to a further 20 ft, from 265 to 285 ft, at a grade of 0.35 oz. Hole No. 10 returned one intersection of 20 ft, from 225 to 245 ft, at a grade of 0.268 oz g.
The company says additional intersections from these drill holes and from others in the immediate area are currently being processed.
It adds samples being examined reveal silver content as well as gold, with results of these analyses to be released as soon as possible.
The holes reported had intersected intensely fractured volcanic and clastic rocks containing stockwork quartz carbonate veining, abundant pyritization and in some cases visible gold.
