Skyline estimates large reserve

A reserve inventory has been released by Skyline Explorations for its Reg property in northwestern B.C. The company describes the reserve calculation by Dr E. W. Grove as conservative and continues to estimate the over-all potential at four million tons at 0.5 oz gold.

Less than 20% of the new reserve inventory (which totals some 938,446 tons at 0.73 oz gold) is classified as drill-indicated and that portion includes 69,773 tons averaging 0.5 oz gold in the Discovery zone plus minor silver and copper credits. The 16 zone, which the company describes as a high grade discovery, comprises some 75,900 tons averaging 0.86 oz gold and 1.3 oz silver with minor copper.

The Zephrin zone is said to contain 2,825 tons at 0.64 oz and there are 5,100 tons in the Pick Axe grading 0.168 oz. In total, the four zones add up to 153,598 tons at 0.67 oz gold, 0.97 oz silver and 0.78% copper.

In a recent news release, the company did not say whether the reserves were fully diluted or what, if any, cutting procedures were used. Inferred reserves totalled 705,000 tons grading 0.67 oz gold, the majority of which occurred in the Discovery and 16 zones. The former has 275,000 tons at 0.5 oz gold and the latter approximately 215,000 tons at 0.63 oz. Skyline says the Zephrin and Gold Rush zones each contain 100,000 tons in the inferred category, averaging 1.0 oz.
