Duration drilling Casa Berardi claim

A $600,000 drill program has been started by Duration Mines on its Casa Berardi area property.

The drill program will concentrate on the gold-bearing porphyry shea r system which intersected visible gold last September.

Duration also has optioned a 50-claim property in Puiseaux Twp. from Vantage Resources. This property ties on to Duration’s west boundary and includes the strike extension of the “gold-bearing porphyry” system.

Last December, Vantage completed a 17-hole reverse circulation drill program. In nine of the holes, the same “gold-bearing porphyry” system was found and two bedrock samples were anomalous in gold.

In the Geraldton Longlac area, Duration has assigned a 50% interest in the Theresa-Liard (past- producing) gold property in Longlac to Locator Explorations.
