Exploration starts for Verdstone Gold on B.C. prospect

Exploration work has started on the East Thurlow Island gold property of Verdstone Gold Corp., the company reports.

The work on the property, some 40 miles northeast of Campbell River, B.C., will be carried out by Minorex Consulting and will consist of survey control grid covering the strike extensions of known mineralization, soil geoch em surveys, sampling, mapping, assaying test pits, adits and all old workings, and 20 line-kilometers of magnetometer and VLF-EM surveys.

The aim is to define drill targets for the next exploration phase, says Verdstone President Larry Reaugh.
