Gold mineralization has been intersected by diamond drilling on the Douay Twp., Que., property controlled by Beaufield Resources. Located east of Joutel, the property covers a geological sequence known to host gold deposits to the east.
The drilling cut the target zone, striking across the entire width of the propery, Beaufield says. Assays from the holes are expected shortly. Based on initial impressions of the drill core, an expanded drill program has been recommended by the company’s consultant. Drilling is also under way on Beaufi eld’s 16-claim property in Quevillon and Franquet twps., Que.
