Encouraging results have been released by Maufort Resources from a grab sample at the Tiblemont gold project located about 30 miles west of Val d’Or, Que.
The company reports the presence of a major shear zone with quartz veins; visible gold has been observed along the shear zone. The structure is situated one mile north of where Maufort extracted a 1,200- ton bulk sample last winter. The company is currently engaged in a stripping program.
Meanwhile, dewatering of the old Siscoe mine continues. Restoration of the second level is reported under way.
