Carlson gets gold on Hemlo property

A drill program completed by Black Gregor Explorations in the Hemlo area has yielded several gold values, the option partner Carlson Mines says. Gold was assayed in five of the eight holes completed. The highest value was 0.14 oz gold per ton from a 4.4-ft section.

The Carlson property, held under option by Black Gregor, is located approximately 20 km west of the three Hemlo gold mines. Gregor earned a 20% interest in the property by completing the drilling. Carlson holds a 36% interest and a private group 40%. Following an evaluation of the results, another program will be considered.

Carlson has also completed an agreement in principal for a private placement of its shares with Black Gregor. The deal will raise $315,000. Two directors of Carlson are also directors of Black Gregor.
