Mon-Dor Explorations says it has discovered a new gold zone on its Weir project in the Gaspe area of Quebec. First drilling results on the Diane zone have returned 0.40 oz gold per ton on average widths of 10 ft. On the company’s Dalquier project near Amos, Que., drilling on the A zone from the 750-ft horizon has returned values of 0.41 oz over average widths of 7 ft.

Onitap Resources has arranged flow-through financing ranging from $666,700 to $2 million. The money will fund exploration on the company’s properties near Isaacs Harbour, N.S. Drilling will attempt to further delineate drill-inferred reserves of 500,000 tons grading 0.15 oz gold per ton.

Ican Resources and Canu Resources have amalgamated to form Ican Minerals Ltd., holders of Ican Resources on a share-for-share basis; holders of Canu on a 1- new-for-two-old-share basis.

Hi-Cor Resources has changed its name to International Burgers Now Ltd. on a 1-new-for-3-old- share basis.

Player Resources has changed its name to Cons. Player Resources Inc. on the basis of 1 new for 2 old shares.

The share purchase warrants of Durham Resources posted for trading on the TSE on March 28, 1984 in connection with a certificate of amalgamation agreement between Consolidated Durham Mines and Onaping Resources dated May 15, 1984 expire on March 1, 1987.
