Reorganziation for Kennedy?

Could you please furnish me with an update on Kennedy Resources Inc. They did not renew their listing a few years back and were associated with Consolidated Cinola Mines, before they changed to City Resources (Canada). Kennedy supposedly has holdings adjoining City Resources holdings. A.A.L., Glenshaw, Pa.

Kennedy Resources has gone into a shell, so to speak. When we spoke to former president and chief executive officer George Sanders in Vancouver, he was not optimistic. He told The Northern Miner the company is now an inactive shell, meaning no one is running the company.

As you may already know, the company’s shares were delisted from the Vancouver Stock Exchange on April 7, 1986.

But all is not lost. Apparently reorganization is in the works. Which means someone is interested in taking over the company and its assets with hopes of reactivating it. No details are available.

Mr Sanders says he has not been involved with the company for about two years. He added the company is a completely separate entity from City Resources.

We will keep you informed should Kennedy be reactivated.
