SUPPLIERS’ NOTES Allis-Chalmers Corp.

Milwaukee, Wis.-based Allis-Chalmers Corp., which has Swedish business interests, plans to realign its worldwide operations into two separate but related companies. Svedala Allis AB, a new multi-national corporation, will be based in Malmo, Sweden. It will consist of present Allis- Chalmers subsidiaries located in Europe, Latin America, Asia and Australia plus related operations in North America. Allis- Chalmers will continue to serve its markets from U.S. and Canadian operations. Each company will have its own shareholders, directors, managements, employees, facilities and strategies. Allis-Chalmers plans to retain an interest in Svedala Allis after private and public offerings of shares in the new company.
