J. Larocque Drill Supplies of Laval, Que., is distributing two diamond drills which are new to the Canadian market. The two drills, called onram and toram, are manufactured in Sweden by Hagby Bruk ab. They have developed an excellent performance record over the years in Scandinavia and eastern Europe and have proven very reliable with minimal consumption of spare parts, the company says.

LaRocque, which has been negotiating the agreement for the past year, expects to see 10 rigs operating in Canada in the next 2-3 years. Swiss Jacklegs and Stopers
