Vedron defining Timmins reserves

Until mid-September last year, the underground work was mainly focused on driving the ramp to the 650-ft elevation, with a limited amount of exploration of the mineralized areas.

Surface and underground work on the Vedron property have defined a number of gold zones which are collectively termed the Fuller orebody. Vedron reports it is making progress in defining the various zones and that the complex geological structures comprising the deposit are starting to be understood. Preliminary calculation of the Fuller orebody indicates a reserve of some 380,000 tons assaying 0.16 oz gold per ton.

Potential to add to the current reserve of the Fuller orebody exists in the carbonatized zones and the mineralized porphyry. These zones are also located near the vicinity of the ramp workings.

The Vedron gold project is located in Tisdale and Deloro twps. of the Porcupine mining camp at Timmins, Ont. The holdings consist of 58 claims comprising the former Buffalo Ankerite mine.
