COATS (over-the-counter) Black Gregor active (November 20, 1989)

With a program of line cutting and geophysics under way on its claims near Hemlo, Ont., Black Gregor Explorations was steady at 40 cents . A COATS computer error this week showed Black Gregor’s share price rising to $1.80, but that was incorrect the company told The Northern Miner. There were a total of 24 transactions involving the Black Gregor issue.

Windy Mountain Explorations reported the results from three recent drill holes on its remote MacLeod Lake copper prospect north of Chibougamau, Que. The holes, drilled at different angles from the same location, intersected a width of 52.1 m averaging 1.12% copper and 0.19% molybdenum. A 4,000-m follow-up drill program is scheduled to start next February. Windy Mountain gained 5 cents to close at $2.70 after 38 transactions.
