Noranda starts survey on Beaty Twp. claims

Work completed by Glen Auden identified several gold showings along the fault. One drill hole intersected a 2-ft section assaying two ounces gold per ton in volcanic rocks adjacent to the fault, Glen Auden says.

Glen Auden’s claims tie on to the western boundary of the Glimmer Resources property, also in Beatty Twp. Drilling by Noranda on Glimmer’s claims has led to the discovery of several high grading gold zones.

Noranda can earn a 60% interest in Glen Auden’s property by spending $600,000 on exploration over a 3-year period with a commitment to spend $200,000 by Dec 31, 1989.
