An agreement to purchase 100% of the Malachite gold-silver-copper patented mining claim in Lyon Cty., Nev., from Lexus Minerals has been entered into by Societe Miniere Mimiska (ME).
Mimiska said a structure 150 ft. in width and known to extend at least 400 ft. in depth will be investigated. The structure was mined in 1929 on an adjacent property to which it extends. The producing Anaconda copper pit is a short distance from the exploration property, Mimiska said.
The deal, subject to regulatory approval, calls for Mimiska to issue 200,000 shares and make payments totalling $100,000 during a 12-month period.
